A school has issued a warning for parents to be on alert after a man was spotted acting suspiciously outside a Preston school.

Preston Police have released a picture of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the incident.

Around 10.30am on Thursday (14 June) a man was seen outside Grimsargh St Michaels Church of England Primary School.

One parent told Blog Preston the man, who did not speak any English, had been taking pictures.

Police say the man made off when he was challenged by a parent.

A spokesman for police said: “We are now actively seeking to identify him and speak to him.

“We’ve liaised closely with the school which has kept parents updated and there are no ongoing safeguarding concerns at this time.”
