Police are warning the public not to approach a man who has gone on the run.

Aaron Whitney is wanted by police in connection with a serious domestic incident where a woman was held captive, handcuffed and threatened with a knife.

20-year-old Whitney is 5’9″, slim and has fair hair.

Preston Police say he has links to Preston, Chorley, Blackpool and Fleetwood.

Sergeant Scott Archer said: “We have carried out a number of inquiries to try and trace Whitney but we are now asking for the public’s help.

“We would urge anyone who sees him or knows where he is to contact us immediately, with a description of his clothing and location.
