Police hunt man after woman attacked in her home in Ashton-on-Ribble

A woman was knocked to the floor of her home during an attack in Ashton-on-Ribble.

Preston Police have released the image of a man they want to speak to following the attack on Monday (25 June).

At 12.15pm a woman in her 50s suffered injuries to her face during the assault at her home.

It is believed she, and her attacker, knew each other.

Paul Hope, 39, from Preston, is wanted in connection with the incident.

A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: “This was an unpleasant attack which left the woman shaken and needing hospital treatment.

“We need to speak to Paul Hope and ask if anyone has seen him or knows where he is, please contact us.”
