A much photographed part of Preston has been fenced off for the next few weeks.
AdvertisementMiller Park’s fountain is undergoing maintenance work.
It has been surrounded by fencing while Preston City Council undertake the work.
A sign on the fencing states it is being cleaned out, a new pump installed and replacement lights added from Monday 25 June.

A spokesman for the city council said: “The fountain is currently out of commission.
“We appreciate your co-operation whilst these works are carried out.”
In recent months the fountain has seen a distinctive carpet of algae in its water.
