Preston’s Caribbean Carnival is set for perfect weather during Sunday.
Returning to the streets around Moor Park and then onto the park itself the colourful procession will see the sun beat down.
Roads are being closed from 11am onwards as the samba beats make their way along Garstang Road and then through Deepdale.
Here’s an hour-by-hour breakdown of how the weather looks for Sunday (10 June).

6am – Dawning with sun, the sun has been up for nearly an hour and a half and it is 13 degrees
7am – Rising to 14 degrees and some cloud cover
8am – A jump to 16 degrees
9am – Still a little bit of cloud cover and 18 degrees
10am – The sun fully breaks through and it is 20 degrees
11am – 21 degrees as the parade begins
12noon – Still 21 degrees, a little bit of cloud cover
1pm – Rising again to 22 degrees
2pm – As entertainment continues in Moor Park it’s still 22 degrees and will remain so for a good few hours. Pack the sun cream!

3pm – Still 22 degrees, a light breeze starts
4pm – A bit of cloud cover but still 22 degrees
5pm – Sun breaks through once again
6pm – Pure sunshine, 21 degrees
7pm – As we go into the evening it drops to 20 degrees
8pm – 19 degrees, some cloud cover
9pm – 18 degrees and still sunny, as the sun sets around 9.40pm
10pm – Some cloud cover, 17 degrees
11pm onwards – 16 degrees and a nice night
