Etty Criscenti, restaurant owner, told Blog Preston: “We closed our Fulwood restaurant for three weeks for refurbishment and during that time, a local man approached us with an offer for the leasehold.
“The business was doing well and it was quite a good offer so we decided it was time to move on.
“All I know is that the new owner is a local man who plans to keep the establishment as a restaurant or takeaway premises.
“Our Penwortham restaurant remains open and we have recently launched a free delivery service which also covers the area of Fulwood and have a 10 per cent discount at the moment.
“Currently we are not thinking about opening another restaurant.
“We are waiting until the lease is signed over otherwise we will continue with refurbishments.”
