The owners of a hotel in Preston say their security team had to clean up part of Fishergate after it was trashed by four men on a night out.
AdvertisementPlants were uprooted, boxes of rubbish tipped up and bins thrown over during the incident on Thursday (28 June) following the England v Belgium game.
Ross Taylor from No 10 aparthotels in Theatre Street shared the pictures of the debris on Facebook and also a picture of the men thought to be involved.
Mr Taylor said: “It’s a real shame that this sort of behaviour happens when everyone else is proud of the city. It was left in a real state.
“The No10 Preston night shift team walked the entire length of Fishergate putting the uprooted plants back.
“The reaction on social media just shows how proud the residents of Preston are and won’t tolerate this sort of behaviour.
“Through the power of the people of Preston we have been given three of the four potential offenders names.
“We are waiting for the police to get in touch if they want to take it further.”
