A cyclist remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition after a crash near Preston.
Lancashire Police were called to the junction of Ainspool Lane and Garstang Road around 2pm on Sunday (10 June).
A Land Rover Freelander and a mountain bike were involved in a collision.
Both vehicles were heading towards the A6 when they came together.
Police say the cyclist, a man in his 60s, was taken to Royal Preston Hospital with head injuries.
The driver of the Land Rover was not injured.
Police closed Ainspool Lane for around four hours for accident investigation work, causing long delays on the A6 and for those leaving the Myerscough Country Fair.
Sergeant Marc Glass of Lancashire’s Road Policing Unit said: “We are working to establish exactly what happened and are appealing for any witnesses who we have not already spoken to, to please come forward.”
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting log number 880 of June 10.
