A new Preston city centre cafe has been forced to close after being targeted by vandals.
Cafune on the Flag Market, which only opened in late May, has been left ransacked.
Husband and wife duo Sean and Ana Kiernan had been bringing a touch of South America to the city.
Now they are to be closed until Thursday (21 June) and left counting the cost of the break-in.
Sean told Blog Preston: “They’ve made a real mess breaking in and thrown around anything that wasn’t bolted down.
“They even needlessly emptied the fridges and freezer so there’s a lot of stock that’s going to go to waste.
“We don’t know yet when we will be able to open probably Thursday.”
Preston Police are understood to have attended the coffee shop during Tuesday morning.
