Holidaymakers trying to get away on the M6 near Preston are experiencing long delays.
A broken down vehicle between Junction 30 (Bamber Bridge) and Junction 31 (Samlesbury) has seen one lane closed.
Motorists are reporting delays of nearly an hour compared to normal travel times on Saturday (30 June) since around 10.30am.

Delays on the northbound side of the M6 are nearly back to Junction 27 (Chorley/Wigan) and it’s also having a knock-on effect on the M61 northbound with delays from Junction 8 northwards to where it joins the M6 at Preston.
