BMW driver arrested after Grimshaw Street crash

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after crash into a Preston city centre pub.

The BMW driver lost control as he turned into Grimshaw Street, off Church Street.

Preston Police were called around 4.15am on Sunday (17 June).

A lamp post was knocked over and the driver stopped just short of the Oblivion pub entrance.

No one was hurt in the crash and no other vehicles were involved.
