A chef is appealing for the return of his bike.

Iggy Piorek had parked up outside a Polish restaurant on Thursday (14 June).

Around mid-day the bike was approached by a man who proceeded to kick the bike a number of times to break its lock.

The bike had been chained to a lamppost.

The incident took place outside the Alicja shop and restaurant in Ribbleton Avenue, close to the Acregate Lane junction.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting reference LC-20180614-0689.
