Preston will be alive to the sound of jazz and improv across the city throughout the second weekend in June.

Courtney Pine is among those performing in a five-day celebration of all things jazz.

Preston Jazz and Improv festival is being put on by the University of Central Lancashire from Wednesday 6 June to Sunday 10 June.

It’s timed to run at the same time as the Preston Caribbean Carnival in Moor Park.
