Hundreds of families are expected to join one of two Big Lunch events taking place in the city.

Ashton Park is once again hosting the event and even more stalls are expected this year.

With bouncy castles, funfair, trampolines, craft stalls and an F1 simulator there’s something to keep everyone entertained.

A stage is being set up for live music and dancing throughout the event.

The Big Lunch has taken place for a number of years in Ashton Park, near the junction with Blackpool Road.

This year’s event is also going to include a gin and prosecco cart, pony riding and crazy golf.

The event is free to attend and runs from 11am to 4pm on Sunday 3 June.

Another Big Lunch is taking place at the same time in Winckley Square.
