Bees have taken over Preston’s city centre during Friday afternoon.

An area around Clarks shoes in Fishergate was cordoned off while beekeepers were called to deal with the arrival of the bees.

They were spotted by shoppers around the one of the trees in the main shopping street.

The Bee Centre based at Samlesbury Hall were called in by St George’s Shopping Centre.
