A number of branches of RBS are to be closed across Preston and South Ribble.

The bank announced on Tuesday (1 May) it would be hutting 162 branches across England in Wales.

There are 792 job losses expected.

Royal Bank of Scotland says it has too many branches overlapping, so branches which are within 0.6 miles of another RBS or NatWest branch are being closed.

Penwortham – 12 November 2018

Leyland – 27 November 2018

Garstang – 13 August 2018

In January the Fulwood branch had the wall of its car park demolished in a crash – the wall remains to be fixed.
