Prestonians are in for a sunny Bank Holiday Weekend as temperatures are expected to climb above 20 degrees.
It’s a welcome change from the chilling winter and rainy spring the city has endured so far.

Friday (4 May)
Morning – Light cloud and breezy wind for the morning, with temperatures reaching 14 degrees.
Afternoon – Light cloud remains up until early evening.
Evening – The sun tries to break through 7pm as the evening slowly draws in.
Saturday (5 May)
Morning – Light cloud for the morning, trying to ease in the afternoon’s sunny weather.
Afternoon – Sunny intervals from 1pm onwards with temperatures reaching 16 degrees.
Evening – Sunny spells up until 8pm, with a few clouds and breeze into the remainder of the evening.
Sunday (6 May)
Morning – Get your shades on, with the sun appearing at 11am. Temperatures slowly climbing into the afternoon.
Afternoon – A few breezes here and there, but the sun is set to stay for the rest of the afternoon, with temperatures reaching highs of 19 degrees.
Evening – The sun stays right through to 8pm, and then it’s a clear night for the rest of the evening.
Monday (7 May)
Morning – Get set for a day of sunshine, appearing from 6am. Temperatures on the rise all morning.
Afternoon – The sun is here to stay, reaching temperatures of 18 degrees mid-morning and still climbing till 6pm.
Evening – The sunshine remains until 8pm, with another clear night to follow.
