One Northern train service wasn’t running on Tuesday morning due to being graffitied.

British Transport Police have released a picture – blurring the words on the graffiti – asking for witnesses.

The Northern train carriage was targeted during the Bank Holiday weekend at Preston Railway Station.

Northern are facing severe criticism since the introduction of a new timetable and on Tuesday (29 May) thousands of passengers saw their journey disrupted due to a lack of train drivers.

Anyone with information on the graffiti is asked text British Transport Police on 61016 quoting log 74-28/05/18.
