A year on from the Manchester Arena attack and a Muslim evening school in Preston has been showing the spirit of community and peace within the city.
Madrasah Kashiful Uloom have been visiting properties around the school in Avenham.
They handing out free food to celebrate Ramadan.
Among those to receive the meal package was owner of TownHouse Coffee in Friargate, Bernice Marie Newton.
She said: “Absolutely buzzing after meeting the guys from Haskiful Uloom.
“And thank you for our yummy food we can’t wait to enjoy.”

The hand-out of food by Kashiful is becoming an annual tradition.
In branded brown bags the food includes a message saying ‘A Token Of Love For Our Neighbours’.
