A pub on the outskirts of Preston is to reopen as a gastropub and also include holiday cottages.
Ye Horns Inn at Goosnargh was made a grade-II listed building in January last year.
The pub had been on the market for more than six months before being bought last year, with its previous landlords deciding to sell up to spend more time with their family.
Dating back to the late 18th century the pub in Horns Lane has a distinctive wooden exterior.
Proposals from PWA Planning outline how an extension would be added to the building, some minor works to the existing pub.

The majority of the work would be building four cottages on the existing car park, building another two dwellings and installation up to 14 holiday lodges on the land.
Parking on the site would have space for 37 cars in total.
Bringing the pub back into use is expected to see five full-time jobs and 15 part-time jobs created.
