Another driver has come unstuck trying to navigate the bottom end of Fishergate near the railway station.
AdvertisementBritish Transport Police acted quickly to a fuel spill after an Audi hit the base structure of the infamous Fishergate Bollard.
The incident shortly before 11.45pm on Saturday (26 May) saw the car mount the plinth’s vacant stand.
The bollard itself is still not back in place after being skittled during the last May Bank Holiday weekend.

Thanks to @VirginTrains at #Preston for emergency sand which eased @LancashireCC staff keeping the road open.
Probably rather expensive for the careless driver…
