Dragon boats will be out on Preston Marina during Saturday.
AdvertisementThe annual inter-universities competition sees the University of Central Lancashire host Lancaster, Edge Hill, Wigan&Leigh, Manchester and Liverpool.
Six teams will compete across the Marina with 16 people in each boat.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service say their Penwortham boat crews will be on hand throughout the event.

The event is on from 10.30am on Saturday (12 May) and is free to watch.
