A dementia-friendly film screening is coming to Penwortham.

The latest in They Eat Culture’s ‘Mobile Home’ project sees venues around the city become a pop-up cinema for the day.

Penwortham Community Centre is host for the 1944 musical Meet Me in St Louis.

Dementia Friendly screenings have been designed to make cinema more accessible to those living in and around the city with dementia.

Alongside the film showing there’s a Memory Casting workshop, run by artist Lisa Wigham.

Visitors are invited to bring an item of personal significance, keepsake or trinket and using a safe jewellery casting method Lisa makes replicas to take away.
