How the weather looks for the Bank Holiday Monday and Sunday has been updated.
AdvertisementThe Met Office now says we’re looking at some rain for Sunday (27 May) evening and also first-thing Monday morning.
Preston’s forecast had been for days of sunshine but on Friday night the heavens opened for some traditional Preston showers.
Here’s how the weather now looks:
Morning
Dawning bright, and a little breezy, we’ll be up to 18 degrees by 10am.
Afternoon
Lunchtime and we’re heading on for highs of 22 degrees by 3pm.
At 5pm it starts to cool off and we’re looking at some light showers.
Evening
The showers continue right through the evening although temperatures remain at around 18 degrees throughout.

Morning
If you are up early on the Bank Holiday then expect a wet start, there’s a good chance of rain first-thing at 6am.
It then remains overcast throughout the morning with temperatures up to 21 degrees by lunchtime.
Afternoon
The sun finally breaks through around 3pm and it’s 22 degrees. Remains cloudy for most of the afternoon.
Evening
Temperatures stay at 20 degrees until 7pm and it’s a last glimmer of sunshine at 9pm before sunset at 9.25pm.
