Woman rescued after car flips during Aqueduct Street collision

Firefighters rescued a woman after she became trapped in her car following a crash.

Two crews from Preston Fire Station attended the scene in Aqueduct Street.

The incident took place around 8.30pm where the driver had flipped the vehicle onto its side.

Firefighters gained entry to the vehicle and rescued the woman.

She was given treatment at the scene by paramedics.

Preston Police closed the road off for around an two hours on Saturday (31 March) while the incident was dealt with.
