Police have released pictures of four people they would like to speak to in connection with an attack on a woman in a McDonalds.

Update: Police say they have identified a number of people following the appeal. The public are thanked for sharing the appeal.

An altercation is understood to have broken out at the fast-food restaurant in Churchill Way, Leyland.

A woman, in her 30s, tried to intervene in the melee and as a result was kicked in the face and has lost the use of one eye.

CCTV pictures of men and women have been released by Lancashire Police as part of their investigation.

The incident took place around 2.20am on Sunday 18 March.

“I would appeal to anyone who recognises these people to speak to police. Likewise, if you were in McDonalds around that time and have any information which could help with our enquiries, please contact us immediately.”

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, or email quoting crime reference SC1802244.
