A shopping centre in Preston city centre is launching a ‘Ping Pong Parlour’.
St George’s Shopping Centre has teamed up with Table Tennis England to open the free table tennis area.
An empty shop unit on the ground floor of the shopping centre has been converted with a number of table tennis tables.
A spokesman for the shopping centre said: “We are working with Table Tennis England in pursuit of their vision to inspire people to get active and lead happier, healthier lifestyles. By introducing table tennis into the places you enjoy visiting, such as St George’s, this will encourage a healthier, ideal lifestyle for you and your family.
“We want to promote active zones into the centre, such as our Ping Pong Parlour, to promote keeping fit, healthy and happy.
“Whether you are coming to exercise, meet up with friends or want to spend some time with the family. This is the place to tick all the boxes.”
