Preston lad Martin Heald has took on the ultimate challenge facing ITV’s Ninja Warrior UK course.
Hosted by Ben Shephard, Rochelle Humes and Chris Kamara, the show sees contestants battle it out to complete the obstacle-filled course in attempt of making it to the final.
Project Support Officer, Martin, 26, who lost his leg as a teenager, decided to compete in the TV series after watching other contestants on the show and thinking he could do better.

Martin, who is a member of the England amputee football team, decided it was his time to take on the challenge of Ninja Warrior.
Martin, from Kirkham, said: “I have watched the show previously and thought I could do that, it doesn’t look too hard.
“I thought it was about time I put my money where my mouth was and take part.
“It was a great experience and a once in a lifetime opportunity.
“There were a few difficult obstacles but it was lots of fun and I’m very glad I did it.”
Martin’s girlfriend Ella went along with him on the day to support his efforts.
He continued: “My family were gutted they couldn’t come on the day but they are excited to watch the show this Saturday.
“I couldn’t have done it without the support I have received from everyone.”
Martin is featuring in Episode One of the ITV series which will air on Saturday 14 April at 6.30pm.
All other episodes of Ninja Warrior UK air on Saturdays at 6.30pm on ITV.
