A history stroll returns to one of the city’s most historic places.
Georgian square Winckley Square sees a guided walk round on Wednesday (4 April.
Groundwork Lancashire who organise the walks in conjunction with the Friends of Winckley Square say everyone is welcome.
The walk, which takes around an hour and 15 minutes, will explain about the Square’s history and some of the notable people who have lived on it.

It includes the house where suffragette Edith Rigby lived in and is marked with a blue plaque.

Meeting point is in the centre of the gardens at 2pm and it’s free to join the walk.
Bring your umbrella though, because this is Preston after all.
