How a new engineering centre is progressing at Preston’s University can be best seen from the air.
The University of Central Lancashire’s new Engineering Innovation Centre is creeping its way upwards on the Adelphi roundabout.
Previous pictures showed the steel beams being finished and put into place and now the exterior of the building is becoming clearer.
BAM Construction are working on the new centre, which is costing £32million, and it is due to be finished in early 2019.
UCLan says the building will train 500 students a year in aerospace, mechanical and energy technologies and engineering.

It’s part of the £200million masterplan for the Preston campus of the university, which is due to see a new public square created in the Adelphi roundabout area and a new student centre built in place of what was Fylde Building.
