More than 100 outdoor enthusiasts were awaiting the opening of a rebranded outdoor and adventure store in Preston.
On Saturday (28 April) the Go Outdoors store opened in what was the Ultimate Outdoors unit.
Owned by the same parent company the store was rebranded and refitted at Deepdale Shopping Park.
At a cost of around £250,000 the store has seen 16,500 square foot of retail space refitted.
It includes a 2,000 square foot indoor field to show off a number of tents.
General manager Craig Sykes said: “The GO Outdoors Preston opening event has been a hugely fun day for all the family.
“It has been fantastic to meet the local community and encourage the public to get outdoors with the help of Preston North End FC’s Deepdale Duck.
“We’re looking forward to continuing to help locals get all the equipment and gear they need to enjoy the Great British Outdoors all year round.”
This is the 64th Go Outdoors store to be opened in the UK.
