Preston night owls with a sweet tooth rejoice – Kaspa’s Desserts is now open until midnight on weekends.
The dessert restaurant applied for a late night refreshments licence after realising they were missing out on trade by closing at 11pm.
The Preston franchise of Kaspa’s, which is situated below the Premier Inn facing on to Ringway, opened in October 2017. Their menu is full of hot and cold desserts including sundaes, waffles, crêpes and cookie dough.

The restaurant has been busy since opening its doors, and is a popular spot for Sunday brunch. It’s also in demand with families who visit one restaurant for starters and mains before moving on to Kaspa’s for dessert.
On the back of this success, manager Malik Rizwan is keen for Kaspa’s to become an active part of the community.
He said, “We employ 25 people, who are mostly from the nearby area. We’re getting involved in local initiatives such as sponsoring Penwortham Town Football Club’s Under 7s, and we also donated vouchers to the Fishergate Christmas shopping event.”
Kaspa’s is open 11am to 11pm Monday to Thursday, and 11am to 12am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Students can get a 10 per cent discount.
The late licence application is available to view on the Preston City Council Public Register. Any queries or concerns should be raised by 4 April 2018.
