Blossoms are to perform an intimate gig in Preston as part of a small-scale UK tour.

Formed in 2013 the Stockport act have steadily climbed their way into the UK charts and also chalked up a Mercury Music Prize nomination last year.

Their track Charlemagne was heavily featured by Radio 1 and Radio 2.

Their new album Cool Like You is out and they’ve been snapped up to play Blitz in Church Row.

The band perform on Wednesday 2 May from 9.30pm and tickets are available from Action Records.
