Police closed off a junction in Ribbleton on Sunday night following a crash.
A man has been taken to hospital with injuries after the two-car collision.
Lancashire Road Police said the cars involved had been delivering food – despite not having insurance to act as delivery drivers.
One passenger in a vehicle was taken to Royal Preston Hospital, their injuries are not thought to be serious.

Police reported one driver for failing to drive without due care and attention as they failed to give way at the crossroads at Grange Avenue and Fir Trees Avenue.
The incident around 7.30pm on Sunday (18 March) saw the crossroads closed for around an hour.
