Road in Bamber Bridge closed by police due to collision

A stretch of road in Bamber Bridge has been closed following a collision.
AdvertisementSouth Ribble Police have closed Collins Road from its junction with Station Road to Poplar Avenue.
It follows a collision involving a cyclist.
A young man is understood to have been taken to hospital.
The incident took place shortly before 4pm on Saturday (31 March).

The police advise the road was likely to be closed for ‘some time’ while accident investigation work takes place.
The road reopened shortly after 6pm on Saturday.
