Man in hospital after collapsing in St John’s Shopping Centre

A man is in a critical condition in Royal Preston Hospital after collapsing in Preston city centre.

Eyewitnesses told Blog Preston an elderly man had been seen fallen outside Heron Foods in the St John’s Shopping Centre.

Passers-by went to help him until the North West Ambulance Service arrived.

The incident took place around 11.30am on Tuesday (27 March).

The man, age unknown, was taken to Royal Preston Hospital where he remains in a ‘critical condition’ according to a spokeswoman from the ambulance service.
