A Preston band is to perform in a very unusual setting on Sunday.
Cold Bath Street – a 10-piece bound – are taking over the Alston Observatory for a unique gig.
Owned by the University of Central Lancashire the band’s fans will crowd round the telescope.
Band member and senior music lecturer Simon Partridge said: “This is a thank you to everyone that has supported the group but also an amazing opportunity to work in a completely different environment …a stage in space.”
The concert takes place on Sunday (4 March) and the band draw their influences from Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Can and Sun Ra.
