Hit and run leaves pensioner hurt on Adelphi roundabout

A pensioner was hurt after a suspected hit and run near Preston city centre.

An 81-year-old man was knocked over during the incident on Friday (16 March).

Preston Police say the elderly man received a number of injuries.

The incident took place at the Adelphi roundabout around 11am.

The driver did not stop at the scene and witnesses are sought by police.
