One of the largest charity shops in the UK is hosting a family fun day.
Emmaus Preston Megastore in North Road is the setting for the event in support of formerly homeless people.
The charity supports those who used to sleep rough by giving them a home and providing meaningful work in the Emmaus shops and community.
Plan for the fun day on Saturday (10 March) include a bouncy castle, charity raffle, and lots of sale items up for grabs.
Director of Emmaus Preston Stephen Buchanan said: “Our Family Fun Day fundraiser is a great way for all the family to have fun whilst helping towards a worthy cause.
“If you have never visited the biggest charity store in the country or want to truly make a difference to people affected by homelessness then make a trip to the Emmaus Preston Megastore on Saturday 10 or Sunday 11 March.”

All funds raised at the event, which runs from 9am to 4.30pm, go towards paying the bond or deposit for when Emmaus companions move on and get their own home.

One of those helped by Emmaus, Andy, said: “The day promises to be great fun for all ages. For our charity raffle we have some amazing prizes such as tickets to a Preston North End game, a signed Leeds United shirt, family tickets to a Preston Grasshoppers and many more. The raffle will be drawn on Sunday 11 March at 4pm and tickets will be available on both Saturday and Sunday.”
