Empty offices in Preston city centre have taken a step towards becoming apartments.
Proposals from PCL and DV Architects have gone in for a change of use application.
Elizabeth House and Red Rose House, in Lancaster Road, are due to become dozens of flats.
The Lancashire Post outlined in November how the eight and ten-storey blocks would become 108 flats in total – with 48 in Elizabeth House and 60 in Red Rose.
But the new proposal sees the number of flats increased, by 90.

Director of PCL Brian Mason writes: “The application is a resubmission of a previous application for the same building however with increased numbers of residential units to 198.”
