Police have released the picture of a man they wish to speak to following an early hours attack outside a Preston pub.

Around 4.15am on Sunday 4 March a 32-year-old man was assaulted outside the Old Dog pub in Church Street.

He was left with a serious injury to his hip and was taken to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged.

DC Paul Gilfoyle from Preston CID said: “While I am comfortable that this is an isolated incident, the assault has caused serious injury to the victim.

“I am asking for anyone who witnessed the assault, or who recognises the pictured man to make contact with us.”
