Preston has awoken to snow as the ‘Beast from the East’ arrived overnight.
Tuesday (27 February) dawned with a covering of snow for the city and surrounding areas.
Preston Bus is already reporting cancellations and diversions to services due to the snow fall.
The 14 service is unable to serve Holme Slack and Cromwell Road due to the snow and ice.

St Francis Catholic Primary School in Goosnargh has been closed, no other Preston or South Ribble schools have closed due to the weather.
The weather warning of snow from the Met Office remains in force throughout Tuesday for Preston with temperatures barely expected to reach above freezing.
Wednesday and Thursday have a chance of light snow but have no weather warning in force.
