A family-friendly festival due to take place this summer has been cancelled.
The Big Day out Festival was billed as a ‘family-friendly, multi-genre music festival’.
It had attracted acts such as Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol, Diversity and many more in the past.
But organisers have scrapped the Preston date for the festival blaming poor ticket sales.
A message on the ticketing website Skiddle says: “Unfortunately, due to poor ticket sales, we have been forced to cancel.”

Tickets for the festival – which didn’t have any acts confirmed on the bill – started at £22 for adults and £3 for children under-five years.
It was due to take place on Saturday 11 August in Moor Park.
