Dance festival to run in Moor Park

S2S Festival has been held previously in the Guild Hall

A major music festival is to take place on Moor Park this summer.

S2S In The Park promises to be ‘Preston’s first outdoor multi-genre music festival’.

The organisers have run dance events at Preston Guild Hall in previous months.

Six areas are planned with a main stage and big top marquees, a fairground and more than 100 DJs and live acts performing.

The festival is due to see 12 hours of dancing and more than 7,000 people attending.

An official afterparty will be held at Preston Guild Hall.

S2S will take place on Saturday 28 July and advance tickets are already available.

A spokeswoman for Preston City Council, who give permission for the use of Moor Park, said: “This event has been booked for Moor Park and the organisers are in discussions with our Events team. The booking is going through the usual processes.”
