A restaurant building in Broughton has been put up for sale.
Touch of Spice at the Broughton crossroads is continuing to trade while the building’s future is decided.
A spokesman for the restaurant said: “We are still open for business.
“It is the property which has gone up for sale for enquiries.
“However, hopefully with the help of the landlord we are bidding for it.”

Fawley, Watson and Booth are marketing the property which is valued around £550,000.
A blue plaque is on the Whittingham Lane side of the building.
It marks that the building, then the Golden Ball Hotel, was the founding place for the Broughton Catholic Charitable Society.

It was founded in May 1787 and worked for the relief of local poverty.
