Buses have been diverted due to emergency roadworks needed in a Preston city centre road.
A section of Manchester Road has been shut by Lancashire County Council close to Cardinal Newman College.
Engineers are on the scene to assess the road between Larkhill Road and Arno Street.
Preston Bus announced its 29 service is needing to go via a different route.
The closure is expected to be in place until 5pm on Friday (2 February).

Diversions put in place by Preston Bus:
Outbound – normal route to Grimshaw Street, then Queen Street and London Road to Frenchwood Boulevard
Inbound – Normal route to London Road, then Queen Street and normal route to Bus Station.
Frenchwood Avenue and Manchester Road (between Queen Street and Frenchwood Avenue) will not be served
Passengers are advised to board/alight the bus at Preston Bus Station or London Road.
