A cup of tea and some toast won’t be found at Preston Bus Station for the next few months.
As part of the multi-million pound restoration of the grade-II listed building the cafe has been closed.
Passengers passing through the Bus Station won’t be able to get refreshments until mid to late April.
A Lancashire County Council spokesman confirmed the cafe had shut and was being refurbished.
Work on the Bus Station is seeing a revamp to the concourse area as the majority of buses move to going from the eastern side of the building.

On the western side a new public square will be created and the multi-million pound Preston Youth Zone.
The Bus Station’s car park has seen major changes to the size of parking spaces and a floor-by-floor refurb.
