One lane is closed on the M6 near Preston causing delays of more than half-an-hour.
Emergency services have closed one lane of the motorway northbound at the Tickled Trout junction (Junction 31).
The crash took place around 8.30am on Wednesday (10 January).
The lane is expected to reopen around 10am and Highways England say traffic should return to normal around 11am.

There are long delays back to Junction 29 where the M6 and M61 join, and it has a knock-on effect to the M61 northbound which is slow from Junction 8.
Reports have also come in around 9.30am of a crash on the M6 northbound at Junction 32.

There’s also heavy traffic at the Broughton roundabout where the M55 joins the M6.
All traffic cleared shortly after 11am on Wednesday (10 January) from both incidents.
