Youngsters will be given the chance to test their heroic characters with a Junior Hero Academy Course being held at Avenham Park.
Designed and built by Royal Marine Commandos and Army Engineers of Ozonefit Military Fitness Preston, the course is the first of its kind for juniors in the city.
Kids will have to tackle an action-packed 20 obstacle mission over 2.5km.

The junior heroes will fly down 50m water slides, a 20m mega spider net, defeat the Hero Wall, Hero Push Overs and Splinters Tunnels, along with other obstacles deigned for budding heroes.
Children aged 7-15 can attend solo or in groups, and will be divided into waves of 7-11 year olds and 11-15 year olds.
Ex-Military personnel and dedicated marshals will be there on the day to ensure the safety of all the children, and guide them around the course.
The course will be held on Saturday 9 June, from 12pm – 3.30pm, and Preston City Council has approved the event to go ahead.
All heroes will be awarded with a Hero Assault Course Medal, a hero mask to protect their new hero identity, free finish line photographs, with additional photographs available to purchase and a discounted Hero Assault Course ‘Technical Cotton Feel’ t-shirt at £7 when purchased with a ticket.
