Police say the flashing incidents took place between 8.45am to 9.15am in the Station Road area on Sunday (28 January).

Sergeant Hesketh said: “Whilst officers were en route to the caller they were flagged down by another woman who said she’d seen the same thing but hadn’t wanted to call us in case we were too busy.

“We are busy, but never too busy to not be told about crime – so we’re appealing for information from anyone who was in the area this morning who also witnessed, or was a victim of these incidents to get in touch to help us with our investigation.

“Officers will be checking the area in due course, but in advance I’d like to ask any local residents who have CCTV cameras in the area to review their footage and let us know if they have captured anything.”
